Coraline

Coraline comes out on friday! I worked on doing illustrations and designs for sets and props for a little under two years up at Laika in Portland.

I will put more of my work on it up on the website after it comes out, but please go see the film. Here is the trailer:

Hi, Jon-- I love your work, and I'm so glad I'll get to see some of it in Coraline. I've been so excited to see the film, and it's great that the time has finally come!

I look forward to seeing the rest of your work from the movie!

jono! lindsay's friend happened to have tickets to the advanced screening. It even had a Q&A with Neil Gaimen. But the whole time i didn't think it was the movie you were working on, until Will told me tonight. For some reason i thought you were working on a wes anderson film at laika. boy was i wrong.

anyway the movie was visually great...i especially liked the chicken popcorn machine. great job jon!

Good job at the panel Saturday, and an even better job staying awake at dinner afterward!

I just watched your "an eye for annai" short on your website. That is so cute and creative! It makes me want to go home and be creative too!

You make me proud, Jon. And I'm not even your father. Or Canadian. Or an artist.
